It’s hard to believe that it is time for another basketball/cheer season at Hardinsburg Baptist Church. We are excited about some changes we are making to the program this year to make it more affordable, and to improve the experience of every child. The program is open to children ages 5-current 5th grade.
 
As you can see above we aren’t under the Upwards umbrella this year. Upwards was extremely cost prohibitive for some families, so we decided why not do the work ourselves, giving more children the opportunity to play. We have some great women working on devotionals for both practices and games so that the children are still learning about God, while playing sports.
 
The cost this year is $25 per child. This is compared to the $65 that Upward charges. Our goal is that cost doesn’t turn anyone away. With your $25 your child will get a t-shirt, a sport sack, and a medal at the end of the season. If cost is a problem, please let us know. Scholarships may be available to help.

Coaches will be contacting athletes the week of Thanksgiving to let them know whose team they are on and to schedule practices. Our goal is to have the gym available the entire month of December for practice.
 
We will be playing games each Saturday in January and February. We will do our absolute best to make-up any missed games.
